Motion Design- "Emotions"
This is a short animation video for an English Lesson to teach children between 6-8 years old about the different types of emotions we feel. I’ve decided to break down this task into various steps, from ideation, storyboard, illustrations, and animation.
Story Boards
I started by sketching and creating storyboard about different character scenes. According to the Manuscript, the first section is an “explanatory” section, while the second section is a question and answer section. Therefore it was important to sketch moodboard for part 1 and part two for the Animation.
Sketches
After creating the Storyboards, it was time to create the character. How will the character look like. A diversity group of character was my goal. People from different backgrounds and culture. Therefore, I started sketching each character, beginning with the face and then the full body. The final illustrations became the brand character of Elegante Dove Design Academy.
Illustrations / Movie Scenes
